TEAM NEWS: Casillas returns to starting XI for Real Madrid in Celta clash

Los Blancos captain is recalled by Jose Mourinho as the capital club look to overcome a first-leg deficit in their Copa del Rey match versus Paco Herrera's outfit

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has brought Iker Casillas back into his starting XI for his side’s crunch match with Celta Vigo on Wednesday evening.

The club captain has been a substitute in Los Blancos’ last two league games, but was quickly called into action during the weekend win over Real Sociedad after his replacement, Antonio Adan, was sent off.

Madrid have been boosted by the return of Sergio Ramos to the starting XI after the centre-back served a suspension in the league on Sunday. He will partner Ricardo Carvalho, with Raphael Varane the player to be replaced.

Jose Callejon has been left out of the starting line-up, with Luka Modric drafted in to play on the right-hand side.

Paco Herrera has opted to leave first-leg hero Cristian Bustos out of his squad altogether for the Copa del Rey clash.

The substitute came on and netted a wonder goal to seal the 2-1 win in the first game between the two sides, but has not warranted a place in 16-man squad.

Park Chu-Young will lead the line for Celta, with Michael Krohn-Delhi, Enrique De Lucas, and Augusto Fernandez supporting in attacking roles.

Real Madrid (4-2-3-1): Casillas; Essien, Carvalho, Ramos, Arbeloa; Khedira, Xabi Alonso; Modric, Ozil, Ronaldo; Benzema.

Subs: Adan, Albiol, Varane, Kaka, Callejon, Higuain, Di Maria.

Celta (4-2-3-1): Sergio; Mallo, Tunez, Cabral, Bellvis; Jonathan Vila, Alex Lopez; De Lucas, Krohn-Dehli, Augusto; Park.

Subs: Varas, Lago, Oubina, Aspas, Demidov, Insa, Mina.
