Valencia need to be tighter at the back, says Valverde
The coach was pleased with his team's work rate and desire in the victory against the Azulones, but was disappointed by his side's defensive display at the Mestalla

The 48-year-old is disappointed with the number of chances the Azulones managed to create, and mentioned that he expected a much more conservative display from his charges.
"I did not expect us to give Getafe so many chances on goal, as all the games we have played so far have been much tighter encounters," Valverde told AS.
However, he went on to say that he is pleased with his team's work ethic and is very much looking forward to seeing what they can achieve in 2013.
"Putting the result to one side, what is crucial is that the team works as hard as it can. In 2013 we want more victories and hard work, because there is a lot that we can still accomplish."
Valencia sit in ninth position in the standings with 24 points, four off the last Champions League place in La Liga.
