Malaga were spectacular in win over Valencia, says Isco
The Spain international hailed his side's performance as they registered an impressive 4-0 victory over los Che, but is remaining coy about his future at La Rosaleda
Isco felt that Malaga were "superior in all aspects" as they rose to fourth in La Liga by sweeping Valencia aside in a dominant display.Francisco Portillo, Javier Saviola and Roque Santa Cruz all chipped in with goals before a late strike from the young midfielder himself sealed the points for the Andalusian outfit.
After recent home defeats against Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano, Isco stressed the importance of a response from los Boquerones.
"The truth is that we have not found our rhythm in the last two home games, so we were very determined today to avenge the last two defeats, and we proved that through Portillo's early goal," he told Goal.com.
"After the last two defeats here at La Rosaleda, this is the best way to move forward. It was a convincing victory, and we had a spectacular game. You cannot ask for more.
"Valencia are a very strong team, but tonight we were on top and superior in all aspects of the game. There are words no words for this game; it was indescribable. We delivered a great performance.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder also faced questions about his own future at the club, and remained coy on the subject.
"It is the future, and nobody knows anything about the future. I am calm and play as always. The only thing I can say is that I want to be at the top level with Malaga."
