Pep's Barca reminded me of him as a player, says Zamorano
By Frank Tigani

The former Chile international is of the opinion that the Catalan coach left his distinctive mark on the Blaugrana during his time in charge of the Spanish club

The Chilean plied his trade with Los Blancos for four years between 1992 and 1996, winning the Primera Division in 1995 and also claiming the league's top-scorer award, the Pichichi.
Having first-handedly experienced Guardiola's style as an active player, Zamorano thinks Guardiola molded the team into an almost perfect likeness of him.
"When you see how Pep played during his active days and how his Barca team played only recently, you can see that it is almost like watching him play," the former striker was quoted by EFE.
"Tito [Vilanova] has a similar style to Pep, but there are slight differences between them. However, I believe Tito is on the right path to reach a very high level as well."
Zamorano then also had a few words on who should claim the Ballon d'Or for 2012 next month.
"Messi and Ronaldo are together above the rest, and between them they should win the Ballon d'Or.
"Among the other contenders there are Neymar, Xavi, Falcao and Casillas."
