By Stefan Coerts

The Spain international spent the past few weeks on the sidelines due to the setback, but he has made it clear that he will not change his style of play

The centre-back, who dislocated his elbow during the Catalans Champions League clash with Benfica in October, resumed match action in this weekend's 3-1 win over Zaragoza, and Puyol was delighted to make his comeback after his excruciating blow.
"I’m pleased to be back and I’m pleased that we won, I’m happy that I’m getting back into the rhythm of things," Puyol told Barca TV.
"The elbow injury was my worst experience as far as injuries go. It was very painful. I didn’t think it would be that bad.
"The only positive thing about an arm injury is that you can start physical training sooner. I just need to gain a bit of mobility and strength."
Although Puyol has had his share of injuries, the defender has insisted that he will never back down on the pitch.
He added: "You can’t think about what has happened to you in the past. If I stop myself from heading the ball or making tackles, it’s time to leave the sport. I always try to help the team, that was just an unfortunate play."
Puyol has made only four La Liga appearances so far this term due to injury.
