Falcao: England? Maybe one day I will play there
The prolific striker has stated his ambition to feature in the Premier League at some point in his career, and admitted that he is a long-term admirer of the championship
Radamel Falcao, who has been strongly linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, has hinted that his future might lie in England. The 26-year-old Atletico Madrid striker admitted that he used to watch the Premier League growing up and mentioned a few of his idols from his childhood.
"England? One day, I could go. It is a game I have watched for a long time and one day I would like to sample it," Falcao told The Times.
"I used to watch it on television when I was a kid. Players like Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, [Gianfranco] Zola. But the one I supported was [Faustino] Asprilla, when he was at Newcastle.
"I think I could adapt to England. I think I could score goals."
Falcao netted 24 times in 34 La Liga appearances for Los Colchoneros last season.
