Atletico Madrid striker Falcao resumes training
The Columbia international took part in Los Colchoneros' morning practice after missing his side's last two matches with a groin strain
Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao joined his team-mates in their preparatory training session before Sunday's Liga clash with Malaga, having been absent in their last two games through injury. The Columbia international was forced to sit out Los Rojiblancos' narrow victories over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League, and Espanyol in La Liga, according to AS.
Falcao has scored seven goals already this season, making him the league's current top scorer, ahead of both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have scored six times each.
Midfielder Tiago Mendes was not present at training, however, after suffering an injury in the Europa tie with Plzen.
The 31-year-old is now set to undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury.
Gifted starlet Kader, 20, trained alongside the first team, though, and could now be set to make his second start for Atletico.
