Mourinho praises Kaka after Millonarios win
The Portuguese coach was very pleased with the midfielder's performance in Wednesday's game and hinted that more playing time could be on the cards
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has taken the time to praise Kaka in the wake of the Blancos' 8-0 win over Millonarios in Wednesday evening's Bernabeu Trophy. The Brazilian midfielder put in a fine performance and netted three times during his 60 minutes on the pitch, and Mourinho has admitted that Kaka's display has done his chances of getting more playing time good.
"Kaka played well, like the rest of the team, while we kept a solid structure. We worked well," Mourinho stated at a press conference.
"When the players show motivation and ambition the consequence is that their coach is more confident and puts them in the team for official matches.
"Kaka and the others showed qualities to put their name in the coach's head."
The Brazilian will be looking to get playing time again at the weekend when Madrid host Deportivo in La Liga.
