thumbnail Hello,

The 57-year-old accepted that a draw was a good point for his side, but insisted Athletic could well have secured all three points

Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa was satisfied with his side's 0-0 draw with Malaga on Sunday, but suggested that if there had to be a winner, his side were good value for it.

Los Leones have made an underwhelming start to their Liga season, but there were signs of improvement against an in-form Malaga.

"If there had to be a winner, it should have been Athletic, as we created the clearerest attacking chances," the Argentine tactician told AS.com after the game.

"It was a game of few chances but we drove forward well and kept the initiative. But we could not win and what counts in our view is that we had to win."

Athletic are next in action when they travel to Real Sociedad on September 29.
