TEAM NEWS: Higuain and Di Maria return for Real Madrid for Getafe clash
The duo are restored to the starting XI following the defeat to Barcelona in midweek, while Pepe remains sidelined for the short trip to face Luis Garcia Plaza's men
Jose Mourinho has recalled Gonzalo Higuain and Angel Di Maria to the starting line-up for Real Madrid's Liga visit to Getafe, after the pair were benched for the Supercopa defeat to Barcelona.The Portuguese makes two changes in attack from midweek with Higuain and Di Maria replacing Karim Benzema and Jose Callejon.
Lassana Diarra also returns to the side with Sami Khedira only figuring among the substitutes. Marcelo replaces Fabio Coentrao at left-back and Raul Albiol starts in place of Pepe, after the centre-back was hospitalised following a collision with Iker Casillas against Valencia last weekend.
Luis Garcia Plaza makes two changes from the side that put up a good fight against Sevilla last Saturday. Abdelaziz Barrada replaces Pedro Leon who is unavailable due to a clause in his loan from the Santiago Bernabeu outfit, while Mehdi Lacen makes way for Xavi Torres in midfield.
Getafe (4-2-3-1): Moya; Valera, Alexis, Abraham, M. Torres; Michel, X. Torres; Barrada, Lafita, Castro; Miku.
Subs: Codina, Lopo, Mane, Gavilan, Lacen, Sarabia, Colunga.
