Fabregas: Barcelona take Spanish Supercopa very seriously

The former Arsenal midfielder is eagerly anticipating the encounter with the Liga champions, and has stressed the Catalans are aiming for victory

The Catalans have won the last three editions of the Supercup, and the 25-year-old is eager to make it four in a row later this month when they take on the reigning Liga champions.
"They will be intense, competitive games," Fabregas was quoted as saying on the official Barcelona website.
"This is just the start of it, but last season we managed vibrant, extraordinary, high-tension games despite some of the players only just having arrived. We are taking this very seriously."
The first leg of the Spanish Supercup is being held at Camp Nou on August 23, with the return scheduled six days later at the Santiago Bernabeu.
