The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at the Mestalla and only this week had the move made permanent.
The player has expressed his delight at finalising the move and spoken of how he hopes to repay his new club for the faith they have shown in him despite him spending much of last term on the sidelines with injury.
"I'm very happy, Valencia made a very big effort to sign me and I hope to get back to my best in return," he was quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.
The Spaniard is now looking ahead to the new season and has made clear that this first objective is to overcome Real Madrid.
"We have had a good pre-season so far and are well prepared for the new season where we hope we will be very competitive. But our first goal is to win at the Santiago Bernabeu."
The former Spain Under-21 made just 11 appearances last season due to injury and is hoping that this season he will be able to feature more for Los Che.
"I hope that this season we have better luck with injuries as we want to have a good campaign and fulfill all our goals," he concluded.
Madrid host Valencia on August 19.
