Sevilla set to seal Cicinho signing
The 25-year-old Brazilian full-back has passed a medical with the Andalusians and is now poised to pen a deal that will tie him to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan until 2016
Sevilla revealed that they are on the verge of signing defender Cicinho from Palmeiras for an undisclosed fee.The Rojiblancos announced on their official website on Monday that the right-back had arrived at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan to sign a four-year contract with the club, after passing a medical earlier in the day.
Sevilla did not disclose the size of the transfer fee but it is believed that the Andalusians have paid approximately €2 million for the Brazilian.
The 25-year-old Cicinho, who is a product of the Ituano youth academy, only joined Palmeiras from Oeste last year.
The full-back's arrival in Seville comes hot on the heels of Julien Escude's departure for Turkish outfit Besiktas last week.
