Soldado signs Valencia extension until 2017

The Spain international has ended speculation regarding his future as he has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at Los Che for five more seasons
Valencia have announced on their official website that they have successfully concluded contract negotiations with striker Roberto Soldado.The Spain international has inked a new deal with the Primera Division side until the summer of 2017. Soldado joined Valencia from Getafe in 2010, and has since developed into a key player at Los Che.
The 27-year-old was the club's leading goal-scorer in the past two seasons, and club president Manuel Llorente was over the moon with the striker's contract renewal.
"Roberto Soldado's performances have been fantastic - that is something that everyone has seen. However, his dedication, desire to take Valencia forward and his winning character make him a cornerstone of the team and an emblem for Valencianistas," Llorente commented.
Soldado somewhat surprisingly missed out on a spot in Spain's Euro 2012 squad.
