Altintop: I would like to play more football
The Turkey midfielder has found first-team opportunities extremely hard to come by in his debut season and admits his future is currently uncertain, with Galatasaray in the mix

The Turkey international arrived on a free transfer from Bayern Munich last year but was the Blancos' second-least played squad member in 2011-12; only reserve goalkeeper Antonio Adan played fewer minutes over the course of the season.
The 30-year-old acknowledges he missed a large chunk of the year through injury, but insists his main priority is to play football rather than sit on the sidelines.
"My future? I do not know what will happen. Everyone knows that it has been a good season for me, but the injury hurt me," he said after Turkey's 3-1 friendly victory over Georgia.
"The team was playing very well and it cost me an opportunity in the first team. These things happen in football. I'd like to play more."
Galatasaray are reportedly keen on landing Altintop, as they look to bolster their squad following the Super Lig success this season, and he confesses a switch may be of interest to him.
"Now I must make a decision. I have to stay calm. I'd like to play more and Galatasaray would allow me to return to my country. We'll see," he noted.
The Turkish media suggest Gala could pay as much as 3 million per season for the Germany-born star.
