Sandro Rosell's second-in-command feels that the Catalan giants do not require too many reinforcements in the off-season as he dismissed a potential swoop for the Santos star

The Catalans were beaten to the Liga title by Real Madrid, while they were eliminated from the Champions League by Chelsea, but Bartomeu feels that the core of their squad is already strong enough, and will return to full strength once the injured players have made full recoveries.
The director then admitted that Neymar, who is continually being linked with a move to Barcelona, is unlikely to make the switch to Camp Nou this summer.
"Could Neymar join us this summer? He has a contract with Santos until 2014. He will stay at his club," Bartomeu stated to RAC1.
"We've been working on transfers for months, but the final decisions will only be made from Monday on.
"We already have a great team and injured players will come back. We think we don't need many transfers, but coaches decide whether we need any reinforcements."
This season, Barcelona were plagued by injuries to players such as Ibrahim Afellay, Alexis Sanchez, David Villa, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Xavi, who all suffered various fitness issues while Eric Abidal had to undergo a liver transplant.
