Pedro's agent insists that the attacker has no intention of leaving Barcelona over the summer in spite of his lack of game time this season.
The 24-year-old was one of the key performers in the Blaugrana's Champions League and La Liga double in 2010-11 but has struggled for both form and fitness this term.
However, the player's representative, Antonio Sanz, claims rumours of a possible move away from Camp Nou are wholly unfounded, primarily because every interested party knows that Pedro has no desire to depart.
"We have not been contracted by anyone because I understand that clubs are aware that snatching Pedro away from Barcelona is an almost impossible mission," the agent told told Radio Club Tenerife.
"He's focusing on [the Copa del Rey] final and hoping that Vicente Del Bosque will pick him for the national team so that he can play in the Euros.
"Regarding the rumours, they are just that - rumours. Our intention and that of Barcelona is for Pedro to stay here for a long time."
Sanz is also of the opinion that Pedro will be given more starts next season now that he is finally over his injury problems.
"It has been an irregular year for him, but he still has 11 goals," the agent pointed out. "And this irregularity has been mainly due to injuries."
Pedro was given his chance in the Barca side after impressing coach Pep Guardiola during their time together with the Blaugrana's B team.
