thumbnail Hello,

The Segunda Division B outfit have pointed out that the trainer still has a year to run on his contract with the club and also has a buyout clause of €1 million

Ceuta president Jose Antonio Munoz has revealed that the club will seek compensation if coach Sergio Lobera leaves to become Tito Vilanova's new right-hand man at Barcelona.

The Blaugrana announced last month that Vilanova will succeed Pep Guardiola as head coach this summer and it is now being reported that the 42-year-old wants the boss of the Segunda Division B outfit to assist him at Camp Nou.

Munoz has no intention of standing in Lobera's way but has told Marca that the trainer will not be allowed to leave for nothing.

Lobera still has a year to run on his contract with Ceuta and his buyout clause is €1 million.

Munoz accepts that Barcelona will not pay such a figure but he is still confident of making the most of his opportunity to seek a level of compensation, which would allow them to pay off debts.

Vilanova is a product of the Barcelona youth system and returned to Camp Nou in 2007, as assistant coach to Guardiola following the latter's appointment as boss of the Blaugrana's B team.
