The Spain international feels that the Blancos' Champions League exit to the Bavarians will only make them stronger, and is desperate to go all the way next term
The Liga champions missed out on a ticket to the final after the Bavarians won their last-four tie on penalties, but Casillas feels that the loss will eventually make Madrid stronger.
"What happened in the Champions League against Bayern was a real shame, but it will only make us stronger. Let's see if luck is on our side next year and we can go all the way," Casillas stated to the club's official website.
"Generally speaking, we outdid ourselves this term and we want to take another step forward next season.
"Things won't be easy, but we have a young and ambitious squad that wants more. We've earned numbers worthy of a truly big side and we haven't lost a single game in the second half of the Liga season."
Real Madrid set a Primera Division record by becoming the first club to amass 100 points in a single league season following Sunday's 4-1 victory against Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu.
