The former Blaugrana midfielder believes that Los Blancos will win the Primera Division this term, regardless of the outcome of Saturday's Clasico

Former Barcelona midfielder Ronald de Boer thinks that the upcoming Clasico will not be decisive, as he feels Real Madrid will win the Liga title regardless of the outcome at Camp Nou.

The Ajax youth coach, who was under contract at Barca from 1998 until 2000, believes that Madrid have made a lot of progress this term, and added that they will not give away La Liga this close to the finish.

"I obviously hope that Barcelona will win the league title, but I have a feeling that Real Madrid won't give this away any more," De Boer said to NUsport.

"Even if Madrid lose Saturday's Clasico, I still think they'll win the title.

"They have made a lot of progress under [Jose] Mourinho. They score a lot of goals and hardly ever concede. I don't think they will win all their remaining games, but Barcelona won't do that either."

Saturday's match at Camp Nou kicks off at 20.00CET.
