thumbnail Hello,

The Brazil international feels that Los Blancos are the team to beat in every competition they play in, and is full of praise for his side's attacking potency

Marcelo has voiced his opinion that Real Madrid are the favourites in every game and competition they compete in.

The Liga leaders are currently preparing for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, and the left-back is desperate to grab a win at the Allianz Arena.

"We'll do our best to win in Munich. Real Madrid are favourites in every championship and in every game, but we will stay humble in order to earn a victory," Marcelo was quoted as saying on the official Madrid website.

"We must only think about our Munich match now. We're in good form, but the match will be difficult and tough."

The Santiago Bernabeu side equalled their club record of 107 goals in one campaign as they came from a goal down to defeat Sporting Gijon 3-1 on Saturday evening, and Marcelo was full of praise for his team's attack.

"We have many forwards capable of scoring several goals and we want more. Cristiano [Ronaldo] has no limits and we have to take advantage of all the strikes he nets for us. The team is strong both physically and mentally."

Tuesday's encounter kicks off at 20.45CET.
