thumbnail Hello,

The Blaugrana supremo says that the Argentine's talent is unmatchable and that the player's quality is seen not only on the field of play, but also away from it too

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell says that the club will never have a player of the same caliber as Lionel Messi.

The 24-year-old broke into Barca's first team in 2004 and has gone on to become a key member of the team and the club's all-time leading goalscorer.

His talent has been acknowledged with three Ballon d'Or awards, along with other individual honours, and Rosell has no doubt that the Argentine is one of a kind.

"I think Barca will never have a player like Messi again," he told reporters.

"Messi's greatness is present on and off the field of play."

Messi took his tally to 61 goals in all competitions in 2011-12 with his strike in Tuesday's 4-0 victory against Getafe.
