Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Pinto has stressed that the Primera Division title race isn't over just yet as the Catalans are not giving up on anything.

The Blaugrana have fallen seven points behind in the league table following last weekend's scoreless draw against Villarreal, but Pinto is confident that Barca can bounce back in the remainder of the season.

"The message coming from the squad is one of faith and confidence. We have very little margin for error, but we're not giving anything up," Pinto told the club's official website.

"Challenges emerge every day, and that's good. We are excited about excelling ourselves and achieving every target we have. The squad has always shown that it can stay strong despite any setbacks. The team is optimistic.

"We aren't tired. We have good coaches and physios but it is hard for everything to work out perfectly every day. But the team is fully committed."

Barcelona are currently preparing for the Copa del Rey match away against Valencia on Wednesday.
