TEAM NEWS: Xavi & Andres Iniesta start for Barcelona against Athletic Bilbao

Barcelona have welcomed back Xavi and Andres Iniesta into their ranks for tonight's La Liga encounter with Athletic Bilbao, as Pep Guardiola makes three changes from the XI that faced Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League in midweek.

The pair started on the substitutes' bench in the Group H fixture on Tuesday, but Guardiola has opted to go with a stronger line-up for their trip to the Basque Country, with Thiago Alcantara and Isaac Cuenca the men to make way.

Elsewhere for the champions, Javier Mascherano comes in for Carles Puyol in the heart of defence.

Meanwhile, for Athletic Bilbao, coach Marcelo Bielsa makes just the single alteration from the side that beat Red Bull Salzburg 1-0 in the Europa League, as Mikel San Jose is dropped in favour of Fernando Amorebieta at the back.
