thumbnail Hello,

The Spain striker's involvement in Sunday's match at the Vicente Calderon is touch and go after he picked up a hamstring injury in training

Sevilla could be without the services of striker Alvaro Negredo for their weekend trip to Atletico Madrid.

The 26-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday's training session and is now facing a race against time to be fit for the match at the Vicente Calderon on Sunday.

Negredo will undergo tests on Thursday to determine the extent of the problem, but the possibility of the striker missing Spain's upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Scotland cannot be ruled out, according to EFE.

Negredo has scored three goals in five Liga matches this season.
