Felipe Melo has praised Real Madrid and believes Jose Mourinho is the best coach in the world, ahead of lining up against the Spaniards for Galatasaray at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
The former Almeria man returns to Spain for his new side, and has admitted that he would love to play for the capital club under the Portuguese trainer.
"Mourinho is the best coach out there. I've always said that. I dream of working with him in the future, but now I am very happy at Galatasaray and very focused. I hope I can win here with Galatasaray and then in Madrid with Mourinho," the Brazilian told AS in an interview.
'The Special One' has been criticised for his recent disciplinary problems surrounding the Spanish Super Cup, but the 28-year-old midfielder has defended the behaviour of the ex-Chelsea boss.
"I'm like Mourinho. I am a guy with a strong personality who does not like to lose. These things are normal in football. If you do not like this in football, you better spend time playing tennis," he stated.
When asked about his countryman Neymar, who is being pursued by Madrid, Melo stated that he felt the Santos forward could be a success at the club.
"He is a great player. Hopefully he can sign for Madrid and do good things here. He can be the best player in the world and coming to Madrid would be an important step towards that goal," he explained.
