The La Liga and Champions League holders had five of their players spend some time with dolphins at the Seaquarium and observe first hand the animals' ability with the ballBarcelona's players took some time off out of the club's pre-season preparations on Tuesday to swim with dolphins in Miami.
Pedro, Xavi, David Villa, Sergio Busquets and Victor Valdes were the Barcelona men who were picked to swim with the animals at the Seaquarium Discovery in Miami, where the Catalan club are having their pre-season training camp.
The dolphins showed their skills with a football and even took penalties against Valdes, who was thrilled with the experience.
"We had a good time, this is what this was about. They are not dangerous animals, quite the contrary. They bring a lot of fun to you," the keeper said.
Before returning home, Barcelona will take on Chivas Guadalajara and America in two more pre-season friendlies.
