Jeremy Toulalan has left Lyon for Malaga and signed a four-year deal with his new side, the Spanish club announced on Friday.
Although the transfer fee was undisclosed, reports suggest it's somewhere between €10-15 million. The Liga outfit say 27-year-old Toulalan, who is a France international, has penned a deal to tie him to the club until 2015.
A statement on the Spanish side's official website reads:
"Malaga Club de Futbol and Olympique Lyonnais close an agreement for the transfer of Toulalan.
"The Spanish club has reached an agreement with Olympique Lyonnais during this morning for the transfer of the international player Jeremy Toulalan.
"The midfielder, who has also reached an agreement with the Malaga team for the next four seasons, will sign his new contract in the coming days and will be presented in the last week of this month."
The former Lyon man had been at the Stade Gerland since 2006, but a poor campaign last term appears to have influenced his decision to leave.
