Javier Pastore looks to be edging closer to an exit from Palermo, as club president Maurizio Zamparini admits he couldn't stand in the way of the player if offers come in from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
After having denied reports Pastore was leaving for most of the season, Zamparini appears to have conceded defeat, suggesting for the first time the 21-year-old Argentinian ace, who has scored 10 in 31 games this term, can leave Sicily.
Despite trying to muffle the sound of the inevitable, previously suggesting not even €100 million would see him leave, the fiery president won't stop Pastore from marching on to pastures new.
"If certain offers arrive then one will have to think about it. For Pastore Barcelona and Real Madrid made themselves heard. If he wants to leave then he will, like [Edinson] Cavani," Zamparini told Teleradiostereo.
"This year the best will stay, but those who wish to leave can do so, same for those who have served their time here."
The Rosanero are currently eighth in Serie A, seven points behind Juventus.
