Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Oezil has described Cristiano Ronaldo as the "perfect player", and he aspires to be like Zinedine Zidane.
Oezil has been sensational this season following his move to the Bernabeu last summer, and he has big ambitions.
"Ronaldo? He has scored plenty of goals, and he is the perfect player," Oezil told La Sexta.
"As for Zidane, he was my idol, and I have seen almost all of his games. He too was the perfect player.
"His goal against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League final [in 2002] was simply incredible."
And, like Zidane, Oezil aims to win the FIFA Ballon d'Or.
"My objective is to improve and I hope that one day I can win the Ballon d'Or. I will give my best for this, but as humans, we make mistakes, and we cannot always play at the highest levels."
