Barcelona's Dani Alves would not be cowed by racist chants from the crowd.
This was directed at Dani Alves, Barcelona's Brazilian fightback. However, the former Sevilla man refused to be shaken by the actions of a mindless few.
"I didn't even notice it," he was quoted as saying by Marca. "Anyway, I would never leave the pitch based on an insult."
Alves went on to discuss his side's ambitions to beat Real Madrid to the league title. Upon being told that Mourinho gave his last season a score of 11 out of 10, Alves said, "Then we'll manage 12! It's a nice touch, outstanding. I respect people with high levels of self-esteem."
The 27-year-old is currently in negotiations with Barcelona over his future at the club.
"I want to stay here, but I will defend my interests to the death," he warned. "I want to stay, but if I don't, no worries, I have no regrets."
