Jose Mourinho Has Shown That Youth Will Be Given A Chance At Real Madrid - Debutant Pablo Sarabia
Real Madrid youngster Pablo Sarabia pleased to be given first team opportunity by coach Jose Mourinho.
Real Madrid talent Pablo Sarabia has stated that his introduction to the first team in Wednesday night’s Champions League win over Auxerre is proof that coach Jose Mourinho is willing to give young players the opportunity to shine at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 18-year-old made a promising cameo in the second half of the match, his first appearance for Los Blancos, and in an interview with AS, he claimed that his development is proof that emerging players can make their mark at the club.
He remarked: “It was the happiest day of my career. Mourinho is a great coach and supports all the homegrown players. We are very close and we appreciate this. It shows that this opportunity can come to anyone.
“Mourinho did not mention the possibility that I might play, but going into the match I realised that it could be the case. I am going to save my shirt and frame it.”
Sarabia also added that the club’s youth system is on a par with Barcelona’s, adding: “This club has nothing to envy at any other club.”
