Esteban Vigo is in confident mood ahead of his Hercules’ side meeting with Real Madrid on Saturday evening, declaring that he is sure his men will cause a surprise.

The Alicante club have already caused a stir this season by going to Barcelona and Sevilla to pick up three points on the road, and now they’re looking to repeat their efforts at the Jose Rico Perez, where los Blancos visit in Matchday 9 of the Primera Division season.

“We will win the Madrid and I'm not crazy, if we do things as we can,” he declared according to Marca.

Vigo announced that he will look to prevent Madrid from playing, but that he will not use any special tactics to stifle Cristiano Ronaldo, who he described as a “great player”.

“We will have respect them but try not to allow Cristiano Ronaldo or Xabi Alonso or [Mesut] Oezil or [Angel] Di Maria to play football,” the coach insisted.

Meanwhile, los Herculanos’ coach also spoke of Royston Drenthe’s situation, laughing that the Dutchman wouldn’t pay €10 of the €2 million clause inserted in his loan contract that would allow him to play on Saturday.
