Almeria coach Juan Manuel Lillo could become the first managerial casualty of the Primera Liga season as he will reportedly be sacked by the Andalucian side if they lose away to Deportivo La Coruna this weekend, according to AS.
It is understood that the club's board met today to discuss the future of the coach with club president Alfonso Garcia said to be unhappy with the attitude of the team while the training methods of Lillo are also believed to be under scrutiny.
The club have made a poor start to the new campaign having managed just two points from their opening four games and following Wednesday night's home defaet to Levante, only goal difference is keeping them off the foot of the table.
Lillo only took control last December when Hugo Sanchez was sacked following a disappointing run but it appears the 44-year-old could be set for a similar fate if they don't manage a positive result at the Riazor on Sunday.
