Real Mallorca coach Michael Laudrup has stated his squad will be looking for revenge against Sporting Gijon on Sunday.
Mallorca were defeated 4-1 by Sporting in Gijon last season and the Islanders will be looking to win this time around at El Molinon.
"There must be some kind of revenge after losing 4-1 but the clash is not definitive," Laudrup has been quoted by Spanish sports daily Marca as saying.
"Sporting have good players in midfield, like Castro and Cuevas, and they did much damage last year. They are very skilled with the ball and if you give them room, then they become very dangerous."
Laudrup believes that Sporting's defeat to Atletico Madrid is not going to affect them at all on Sunday.
"(Sporting) met a team that had a good day and it was difficult to get something there."
