Osasuna defender Nacho Monreal is hoping that his side can stem the tide of history when they travel to the Santiago Bernabeu this weekend to take on Real Madrid.
The Navarran outfit have lost on their last four attempts against Madrid with last season being hte closest they have come (3-2). Now hte 24-year-old full back, who recently returned to the international fold with Spain, is hoping for a change in fortunes and believes the absence of key figure Cristiano Ronaldo could prove a telling factor.
"On Saturday we have a very important game and we will try to win. I am looking forward to it with great enthusiasm. It is difficult, but let's go for it,@ he told the club's official website.
