Jose Mourinho's side were held to a goalless draw by Real Mallorca in their opening game of the new season last month and fans will be expecting a convincing win on Saturday.
However, summer signing Pedro Leon believes that the Blancos have to be careful against their opponents.
"We need to play well and as a tight knit group in order to have a chance to win," the 23-year-old is quoted by Realmadrid.com as saying. "It won't be easy, however. I am sure it is going to be a difficult match.
"Although Osasuna drew their first match, they are a battle-hardened team that will pressure us a lot. I am sure they will give us some trouble.
"We cannot be paying attention to what Barcelona or any other team do. We need to focus on ourselves. Knowing that we are in good shape, we don't care who we play. We just hope that we do well in our next match as well as all those that follow."
The former Getafe star concluded by saying he wants to grow as a player under the tutelage of coach Jose Mourinho.
"I hope to continue learning and improving. There is a lot that I have yet to offer."
