After leaving Juventus this summer for Spanish Primera Division new boys Hercules, David Trezeguet has spoken of his love for his previous employers.

The Frenchman spent 10 years in Turin after joining from Monaco and enjoyed a successful career in Italy, making 245 Serie A appearances alone with a goal ratio of just over one in every two games in his time with the Bianconeri.

"Ten years with Juve was a great love story and I will forever be a fan of Juventus," Trezeguet told BBC Sport.

"My best achievement in my 10 years was the promotion from Serie B to A, it was a fantastic experience because the fans thought those who chose to stay were heroes. I felt esteem and love.

"Around us we had kids at the time who are now major players like Giorgio Chiellini and Claudio Marchisio. If Juventus win enough titles I want to be the first to wear the shirt with three stars."
