Spain Pick Up Principe De Asturias Award For Winning The World Cup
The Spanish national team has been bestowed with the most prestigious award in the country.

Spain's World Cup winning squad were presented with the Premio Principe de Asturias de los Deportes 2010 award on Tuesday morning.
Under coach Vicente del Bosque, la Furia Roja won football's biggest prize in South Africa this summer as they defeated the Netherlands 1-0 in the final to conquer the world for the first time in their history.
The national team have now been recognised with the most prestigious award in Spain. President of the Award jury, Manel Estiarte, made the announcement on Tuesday morning.
The jury stated, “The national team have created a style of play which is universally admired and is seen in many countries as an example to follow."
