Barcelona Boardroom Problems Will Eventually Affect Team Performance - Johan Cruyff
Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff believes boardroom disruptions could eventually be transmitted to the team.

The past week has saw former president Joan Laporta come in for extensive criticism regarding his lavish expenditure during his time in charge, and has prompted the club to draw up a ‘code of ethics’ in an attempt to avoid future mismanagement of funds.
Speaking in his weekly column in publication El Periodico, the Dutch legend reckons the current conflict and strained relationship between current incumbent to the presidency, Sandro Rosell, and Laporta will ultimately affect the team on the pitch.
He remarked: “I do not know whether there are leaks, or the degree of truth behind the allegations, but if everything revolves around non-sporting issues, this can only end in tears.
“There is too much non-sporting noise, which makes me cautious about the future. I don’t believe everything [under Laporta’s management] has been negative. I’m sure there were many positives.
“These factors can only ever subtract from the good things, never add to them. The new managers must keep the good things and improve everything that they can.”
Barcelona return to league duty with a home match versus Hercules this Saturday.
