Valencia Striker Roberto Soldado Returns To Full Training
Unai Emery now has a full squad to choose from after striker Roberto Soldado returned to Valencia training following his hamstring injury.
By Paul Madden
Soldado suffered a minor hamstring tear in Valencia's pre-season friendly win away to Lecce and as a result had to sit out their season opener, a 3-1 win away to Malaga.
The 25-year-old's return to fitness is a boost for coach Unai Emery, who now has a full squad to choose from. Central defender David Navarro was withdrawn early from Monday's training session due to muscular discomfort but that was a precautionary measure and according to Super Deporte he is expected to be fit in time for Saturday.
