Real Sociedad goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has expressed his delight at having made a winning start to the new Spanish Primera Liga season at the weekend and believes that the fans enjoyed their opening game success.

La Real made their return to the Spanish top flight a memorable one as they defeated Europa League hopefuls Villarreal 1-0 and Bravo has been quoted by Spanish sports daily Marca as saying that he is "happy" with his performance.

The 27-year-old also suggested that "the people are enjoying" their game but denied suggestions that he had "little work" to do against the Yellow Submarine as Villarreal did have a few chances of their own.

Sociedad play Almeria away from home on Monday September 13 in their next Liga game.
