Mallorca are struggling financially and are under administration at the moment, but they managed to hold Madrid to a 0-0 draw at home on Sunday and Cavenaghi was delighted with the atmosphere of the match.
"They made me feel special. The game against Madrid was spectacular and the environment on the pitch was too," he told Marca.
"I loved the stadium filled with the spectators. I expected something like that, I'm very happy.
"Not all teams draw and take a valuable point off Madrid. Madrid had some chances but we opened up the game in the second half."
