Espanyol keeper Carlos Kameni looks to have failed to seal a move to a number of clubs on deadline day of the transfer window. The Cameroon international was linked heavily with a deal to Galatasaray, and also Fulham and Sporting Lisbon.
The deal with the Turkish side stalled over a fee which was rejected by the Catalan club after negotiating all day yesterday.
The transfer falling through meant a deal for Espanyol target Kiko Casilla from FC Cartagena was aborted by the clubs' officials.
Kameni was left out of the Periquitos side at the weekend due to injury and his situation in Spain now remains unclear. The keeper's contract was close to expiration last season but in the end the 26-year -signed a four-year extension.
