Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores has demanded that his players keep their feet on the ground following their four goal demolition of Sporting Gijon in their opening Primera Liga fixture at the Vicente Calderon.
A Diego Forlan brace and goals from Jurado and Simao sent los Colchoneros on their way to a magnificent win but Flores was cautious of the long season his side face.
"It's going to be a tough season, very difficult, there are many objectives along the way but it's important that players are energetic and enjoying themselves. We have not had a complete game, but a good game. We are happy with how we play, have fun and we're comfortable with what we do,"he was quoted assaying afterwards by Marca.
