We Have No Fear Of Valencia: Malaga Coach Jesualdo Ferreira
The former Porto tactician is ready for Los Che...

Malaga coach Jesualdo Ferreira has told his players not to fear opponents Valencia ahead of their Primera Division clash on Saturday evening.
Los Che travel to Andalucia to take on Ferreira’s side, who have bolstered their squad in the close season, and are looking to improve their performance in the league this season.
Speaking in a press conference today, the former Porto coach commented that Unai Emery’s side should not be faced with trepidation.
He said, “The goal for the club is to build a new, stronger Malaga. The club has to grow, and a mid-table finish would help us to that.
“Valencia are a great team, and to get into the Champions League is not easy. We have to respect, but we are not afraid of Valencia, although they are very strong.”
The experienced boss also assessed Malaga’s pre-season preparations, and added that although they have struggled for form, he knows they can improve come the big kick-off.
He added, “We have had six weeks training for the league and the first matches are always the hardest. There are players who are out, and have been missing throughout pre-season. It has not been the best time for us, but we have to ensure we improve.”
