As reported by AS, Real Madrid have arrived in the United States to continue their pre-season preparations under new coach Jose Mourinho. They will play two friendly matches on American soil, first against Mexican side Club America in San Francisco on August 4, and then against the Los Angeles Galaxy on August 10 in LA.

In the meantime, Los Blancos have returned to regular training, using University of California-Los Angeles' state-of-the-art sports facility for training.

The players who made for the City of Angels were Dudek, Adan, Pepe, Marcelo, Garay, Drenthe, Diarra, Lass, Granero, Pedro Leon, Gago, Ronaldo and Benzema. Further, Mourinho chose to bring five youth team players with the team; Nacho, Tebar, Alex, Juanfran and Morata.

On Saturday, Kaka, Gonzalo Higuain and new signing Angel Di Maria are scheduled to arrive in the US to join Madrid's party, while Monday will see Los Blancos' World Cup-winning contingent (Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Arbeloa, Albiol and Xabi Alonso) join the squad. In addition, Rafael van der Vaart will also join the team at that time. Sergio Canales' arrival is currently open-ended as the player continues to show off his skills in the U-19 European Championships in France.
