Madrid are scheduled to take part in two friendly matches during their time in the States and do so with the incorporation of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who cut his holiday a few days short to join the team for training yesterday and to leave with the squad for the U.S.
Including Ronaldo, the squad travels with 13 players from the first team (Dudek, Adan, Pepe, Marcelo, Garay, Drenthe, Diarra, Lass, Granero, Gago, Pedro Leon, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema) and five youth team players (Nacho Fernandez, Marcos Tebar, Álex Fernandez, Juanfran and Alvaro Morata) and will be staying in the Beverly Hills hotel on the iconic Sunset Boulevard.
The team will then take part in two training sessions per day at the University of California - Los Angeles' campus - under the direction of Jose Mourinho and will slowly begin to enjoy the additions of Madrid's players who took part in the World Cup, including new signings Angel Di Maria and Sergio Canales.
Madrid will participate in two friendly matches while on American soil - one on August 4 in San Francisco against Mexico's Club America, and the other on August 7 in Los Angeles against David Beckham's LA Galaxy.
