Reigning Spanish champions Barcelona have revealed on their official website that they've reached an agreement with Primera Division outfit Racing Santander for the loan move of defender Henrique.

The Brazilian centre-back has signed a one-year loan deal with the Liga outfit. Barcelona spokesperson Toni Freixa added that Barca and Racing have not agreed an option to sign the player on a permanent basis.

The 23-year-old Henrique Adriano Buss joined the Blaugranas from Palmeiras in the summer of 2008. He spent a season on loan to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen before moving on to Racing, also on loan.

He played 22 league matches for the Santander side, scoring one goal in the process.

He will now spend a further season at Racing, where, coincidentally, Barca will open their 2010-11 league campaign.
