Brazilian outfit Santos have denied rumours that reigning Spanish champions Barcelona have the first option to buy highly rated youngsters Paulo Henrique Ganso and Neymar.
Santos confirmed earlier this week that they have secured the services of young attacker Keirrison from Barcelona on a one-year loan deal and reports from Brazil suggested that the Blaugrana had negotiated an option to buy Neymar and Ganso as part of the deal.
"The negotiations about the transfer of Keirrison do not include the option of priority in the purchase of the rights of any current player of Santos," Santos chief Paulo Jamelli was quoted as saying by Marca.
Both the 20-year-old Ganso and the 18-year-old Neymar have already attracted the interest of a number of European clubs. Ganso has been linked with clubs such as Olympique Lyon and Milan, while Real Madrid and Chelsea are supposedly keeping tabs on Neymar.
However, Santos are eager to hold on to the talented duo for at least one more season.
